Souness has missed the point that sometimes players take longer to develop and reach their full potential. There are some talented players at lesser clubs, not every good player ends up at a so called big club.
Matt le Tissier could easily have played at a bigger club, just because he didn't does that make him not a top player. Loads of other examples.
